I really enjoyed reading the play, “A Doll’s House.” I believe the play was very interesting because it was written a long time ago and you could see throughout the play the many differences regarding what was not correct to do vs what was correct to do back then, compared to what is correct and what is not correct to do now days. I think the play had a very unique story to it especially because of the unexpected ending. I really did not expect for Nora to end up leaving at the end of the play, and not even to mention what a selfish attitude her husband took towards her after all she did for him. I really thought the play had a really different ending compared to many other stories were the couple loves each other because in most stories love ends up “winning,” and like I said in this play well the couple that loved each other at first ended splitting up. I really liked the play mostly because of how different it turned out to be compared to other stories. The ending was very different and sort of let me hanging wondering what happened to all the other characters, but that was the best part because it left a little for my imagination to make up.

I found it interesting how a marriage was treated back then to how it’s treated now. I didn’t expect for Nora to just walk out at the end and leave her kids and everything else behind. And it shocked me how her husband treated her. I wouldn’t let my husband treat me that way ever.
